Studio Current’s collaboration with the Swenson Development Team transformed this 100-year-old cold storage warehouse on Lincoln Avenue into an industrial hub for an array of creatives, makers, manufacturers, and fabricators, allowing them to bring their unique products to life. Midtown Arts Mercantile is an inspiring and stylish space in an up-and-coming section of San Jose on the border of Willow Glen and Downtown San Jose. Arts Mercantile tenants include a brewery, coffee roastery, furniture maker, florist and more. Custom design elements include the use of reclaimed wood from the century-old industrial structure, now reimagined as barn doors, wood siding, and a project directory.
